We generated an 8-second video from the same two prompts with each model: Omni switched shots on the "0–2 s, 2–5 s, 5–8 s" cues and tracked the courier from the side before swinging around behind her; H3 moved the camera with more energy, and the "SKY BREW" label reads in every frame, but it compressed the first seconds. Omni generates 3 to 10 seconds at a time and can extend a clip; H3 generates 5 to 15. Both are in Sky Studio: if you're unsure, run the same prompt on both.

How we ran the test
We sent both prompts, in English and unchanged, to both models: 8 seconds, 16:9, Omni at 720p and H3 at 768p (H3 has no 720p); everything else used Sky Studio's defaults. Each model generated once per prompt; below are the original videos, not picked or edited.
- The first prompt tests camera moves and action: a bike courier rides past a taxi on a rainy street at night; the camera tracks alongside her, then swings around behind her as she turns into an alley and splashes through a puddle.
- The second is a product ad with timing cues: 0–2 s, ice cubes drop into a glass; 2–5 s, the coffee pours; 5–8 s, the camera pulls back. The bottle's label must read "SKY BREW".
Test 1: camera moves and action
Both models made one continuous shot with no cuts, with the taxi, the alley and the splashing water.
- Gemini Omni Flash: follows the prompt. It tracks alongside her down the street as the taxi passes, swings around behind her, and follows her into the alley and through the puddle. It added a black delivery box on her back.
- MiniMax H3: a closer, more energetic camera. It opens with her riding toward the camera with the taxi beside her, then moves in close at her side and comes around behind her into the alley. It gave her a bike helmet, and it didn't open by "tracking alongside".
Prompt: “A young woman bike courier in a bright yellow raincoat rides through a rain-soaked city street at night, weaving past a slow-moving taxi as neon signs reflect in the puddles. The camera tracks alongside her at street level, then swings around behind her as she turns into a narrow alley and splashes through a puddle. Cinematic, realistic, with the sound of rain, tires on wet asphalt and a bicycle bell.”
Test 2: a product ad with timing cues
- Gemini Omni Flash: gets the timing mostly right. Ice drops into the glass until about 1.5 s, the coffee pours from 2 to 5 s, and at about 5.5 s the camera pulls back to show the bottle beside the glass. The problem is the text: while the coffee pours, the label says "SKY" twice; in the final shot, the label correctly reads "SKY BREW".
- MiniMax H3: the "SKY BREW" label is large, sharp and correct in every frame. But it compresses the opening: the ice lasts only about half a second, the pour starts early, and it adds a close-up of the label; at about 5 s the camera pulls back, and that part is on time.
Both videos come with sound.

- If it has to follow timing and camera moves (ad storyboards, shots that must land on a specific second): Gemini Omni Flash.
- If you want energetic action or text that reads on screen (labels, signs): MiniMax H3.
- If you need longer clips: H3 goes up to 15 s at a time; Omni goes up to 10 s, but you can extend a clip to 40 s in total.
- If you need a ratio other than 16:9 and 9:16 (21:9, 4:3, 1:1, 3:4): H3.
- If you're unsure: run the same prompt on both models in Sky Studio and keep the better one.
