If you use these features every month and your usage is steady, Runway is still a good choice.

   Best for: Putting many references into one video, or people already on CapCut

   Dreamina is CapCut's AI image and video platform, with video models such as Seedance 2.5. Its official page says Seedance 2.5 combines up to 50 references in one generation (images, videos, music and more) and makes 30-second videos, or up to 180 seconds in a beta long-video mode; it can also edit just part of a video without regenerating it. Veo 3.1, Sora 2 and Nano Banana Pro are there too.

   • Versus Runway: it also generates from references, and brings models from several makers into one platform.
   • Keep in mind: removing the Dreamina watermark from downloads is a paid-plan benefit.
   • Billing: subscription that renews automatically and can be cancelled anytime; there is also a free option with daily credits.

4. 4 Hailuo AI

   Best for: MiniMax H3, with storyboard, voice and music tools in the same place

   Hailuo AI is MiniMax's video and image platform. Video runs on its own MiniMax H3, and Omni Reference takes up to 12 image, video or audio references. It also has Storyboard for multi-shot stories, Hailuo Agent with an infinite canvas, image generation with Nano Banana Pro and Seedream, and voice and music generators.

   • Versus Runway: it centers on its own models and keeps references, storyboards and sound in one place.
   • Keep in mind: videos downloaded on the free plan carry a watermark, and payments already made are not refunded.
